Cooking with Style Fabulous Fish Dishes - NEW!

Learn to create delicious fish dishes using a few basic techniques. This menu starts with a mixed greens and garden vegetable salad with a homemade creamy garlic dressing. We’ll grill fresh tuna steaks with a fabulous Mediterranean style relish served with pasta tossed with garlic in olive oil. Moist, flaky Atlantic salmon is slow baked with an oven dried tomato and dill butter sauce. Walleye Pike will be lightly breaded and pan-fried to a crispy golden brown and served with homemade tarter sauce and mashed potatoes. Key lime pie finishes topped with fresh whipped cream. Lacto-fermentation Basics - NEW!

Sauerkraut, yogurt, pickles, cheese, sourdough bread, beer and wine- what do they have in common? They are all delicious by-products of lacto-fermentation. Traditionally lacto-fermented foods are easy to make, inexpensive, and full of preventative health benefits like probiotics, B-vitamins and minerals. In this class we will learn the history, benefits, and basics of preparing several delicious lacto-fermented foods right from the farm.
