NR. TWO BRIDGES

& RESTAURANT

Prince Hall Hotel nestles in the very heart of Dartmoor, approached by a beech-lined drive and surrounded by open moorland, tors and rivers. It is run by Fi and Chris Daly, with their small team of staff, who endeavour to make your visit as relaxing as a stay in the country with friends. Open fires, comfortable sofas and armchairs, well-proportioned en-suite bedrooms and the light, airy restaurant await. Comprising of eight bedrooms, lounge, bar and restaurant, Prince Hall Hotel is small enough to remain intimate, but large enough to provide every service needed to make your stay comfortable. As Prince Hall is in the very centre of the moor, there are walks that start from the hotel’s front door which take in the moorland landscape of wild tors, and gentle rivers. The West Dart river flows just beyond the hotel grounds,

allowing us to arrange fly fishing for our guests on our doorstep. Similarly, horse-riding. golf and clay pigeon shooting are available nearby. For those guests who enjoy walking on the moor, we can arrange for you to ramble with a llama as a companion to carry your pack. Or for those seeking a more leisurely experience, massage sessions are available at the hotel. For those who wish to venture a little further, there are the market towns of Tavistock, Chagford and Ashburton nearby; National Trust properties such as Castle Drogo, Lyford Gorge or Buckland Abbey: or the privately-owned Garden House, all within half an hour’s drive. Whatever the length of your stay, Prince Hall Hotel will make your stay on Dartmoor a true pleasure. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
