2 Entry Categories The Classic Adobo Choice of pork, chicken or a combination of both as your meat. The use of peppercorn, bay leaf, soy sauce & white vinegar are required in this category. You should be able to serve at least 15 people with your dish. The Fil‐Am Adobo You may use any kind of meat (ribs, fish, lamb, etc.) apart from pork & chicken in this category.
The Great Filipino Adobo Challenge The 1st Michigan Adobo Cook Off is an adobo cooking competition open to everyone. You may enter your recipe as an individual or you may create a team of up to three (3) people. The challenge is to introduce your version of the Filipino Adobo. It can be your family recipe or that of your region (Cebu, Iloilo, Pampanga, etc.) or something you have created on your won. Bring a dish to pass & your favorite drink since it will be one big picnic on this day. SmileTrain donations will be accepted.
You should be able to serve at least 15 people with your dish. Entries must be registered & brought to the park by 10:30AM on the day of the competition to qualify!
