Nursing Partners with the National Healthcare Association Presentation College has been approved and has partnered with the National Healthcareer Association to ensure the Medical Assisting students at PC have different options for credentialing and/or stacking credentials. This partnership will also allow PC’s Medical Office Administration students to sit on National Exams and earn credentials as well. “This is something that can set us apart from other institutions and give our students and graduates the opportunity to take full advantage of their career goals,” said Mary Gjernes, PC’s Medical Assisting Program Director. According to the NHA Website, students who achieve passing scores on exams are allowed to include the certification credential (the NHA program abbreviation) behind their name, which can help students set themselves apart. “The ability to stack credential is a great advantage to have as a medical professional, especially in the ever fast paced competitive healthcare environments,” said Gjernes. “We are very excited to have this opportunity for our students and our graduates.”
