Castillo San Sebastián de la Cruz - Corral Inicio: Entrada del castillo. Término: En lo alto de la fortaleza. Distancia acumulada: 550 metros Tiempo acumulado. 1 h Descripción General del Circuito: A través del recorrido de 8 Hitos, cuarenta minutos aproximadamente, conocerá de cerca el castillo más poderoso y mejor artillado de toda la bahía de Corral. Sobre la punta que mira hacia la isla Mancera, más alta que la otra, fue levantado el castillo y sobre la punta gemela; más pequeña y baja hacia el fondeadero, se instaló la batería de la Argolla, el año 1647. Construido en 1645, llegó a ser considerada la fortaleza más importante del puerto. Recién a comienzos del siglo XIX adquiere su forma final, con su magnífico despliegue de elementos artísticos, además del buen sentido de su arquitectura. A lo largo del tiempo, ha tenido numerosas modificaciones, restauraciones y reconstrucciones. Descripción del recorrido. Luego de pasar por boletería, iniciamos el circuito con el Hito 1 ubicado tras pasar la puerta de entrada. Desde este punto puede observar a su izquierda la batería compuesta por cañones alineados. Al aproximarse verá que están montados en unos carros de madera llamados Curiñás, piezas de madera de luma y roble pellín. En tres de ellos se puede observar, a nivel del suelo, sus respectivas balas, aun cuando no son del tiempo de los españoles, evocan el uso que tenían.
