Ispirato all’ampio archivio fotografico della società mineraria, con scene che spaziano dall’estrazione delle materie prime ai processi di fusione, fino ai prodotti finiti, il design degli interni propone situazioni evocative dei contesti estrattivi e produttivi, dove funzionali sistemi di arredo associati ad accurati abbinamenti di materiali e finiture si integrano con esclusive soluzioni compositive e la presenza di installazioni artistiche. Designed in accordance with the LEED® Silver sustainability standards, the new offices of HudBay Minerals occupy an entire floor of the Telus Building in Toronto, with spectacular views of the city. The interior architecture takes inspiration from the mineral company’s extensive photographic archive of images pertaining to the extraction of prime materials, casting processes and finish products, with spaces that evoke the atmospheres of mining and production activities. Functional furnishing systems and carefully selected materials and finishes seamlessly integrate with unique compositional solutions and artistic installations.
