Fidel Castro
Aug 13, 1926 - Nov 25, 2016
Fidel Castro was a Cuban revolutionary who served as PM / President of Cuba from 1959 to 2008. Adopting a Marxist–Leninist model of development, Castro converted Cuba into a one-party, socialist state under Communist Party rule.
A controversial political leader of his era, Castro both inspired and dismayed people across the world during his lifetime. He is either praised as a brave champion of the people or derided as a power-mad dictator.

A revolution is not a bed of roses. A revolution is a struggle between the future and the past.
