We have 20 beautiful overnight rooms – the perfect place for your out-of-town guests or for you to spend your wedding night. You can also enjoy our culinary team on-site at The Duke Mansion for your wedding breakfast, rehearsal dinner or any other celebration. If you select The Duke Mansion for these additional needs, you have the chance to rely on the same great team that you will work with at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden.

The Duke Mansion Difference Our team looks forward to working closely with you to plan a memorable event for you and your guests. And, we will be there every step of the way so that you can relax and enjoy your special day. We’ve included some sample menus for you to consider – you may find the perfect one in what we’ve offered. But, we are glad to work with you to customize further. We offer two types of events at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. Reception style events are great for mingling and keeping an exciting flow to the celebration while incorporating heavy hors d’oeurves and delectable stations into your menu. Seated dinners are special for the most formal of occasions where your guests will be treated to three courses. We are glad to accommodate any of your guests who have special requests including delicious vegetarian entrees. For a modest additional charge, you can give your guests a choice of two entrées in advance. We can also offer a wonderful duo entrée where each of your guests can enjoy a wonderful pair of entrées, the perfect answer to the tough question, “How will I ever choose?” We have also developed several beverage packages including some special wedding day cocktails. For a small handling fee, our professional planning staff can also arrange for all your rentals and other needs such as flowers, linens, tables and tents. This is a good investment to help make sure your special day goes perfectly. For our catering at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, we ask for a $65 per person food and beverage minimum. Our Gift to You Whether you choose a reception or a seated dinner, we include full coffee service and a complimentary champagne toast at no extra charge. If you choose a seated dinner, our Chef offers you a special Amuse course as his gift to you.

Additional Catering Fees (These fees will vary depending on the size of the group and the menu chosen)

Service Charge and Tax All Food and Beverage Sales are subject to a 20% Service Charge & 8.25% North Carolina Food and Beverage Tax. Service Staff Service Staff, including Bartenders and Chef Attendants, are billed at an hourly rate of $22 an hour. Hours billed will include travel time, setup and breakdown time as well as scheduled event time. China and Rental Fees Place setting for a three course plated dinner including house Ivory China with gold trim, flatware, stemware and cloth napkin. $5 per guest China, when applicable, and Rental Equipment will be determined by the Catering Director prior to the event date and this charge will vary from event to event. Linens Linens are available is various colors, fabrics, and sizes. Pricing begins at $20 each. Delivery Fee For Offsite Caterings there is a one time delivery fee of $150.00 per $5,000.
