Smart Home Technology We are expanding the availability of smart home technology and access to on-campus information and services through our Village Connect portal. The center comprises the Brossman Ballroom, Deike Auditorium, Baird Wellness Center, Lodge Multipurpose Room, Masonic Lodge, museum displays, art studio/gallery, recreation areas, coffee shop and Visitors Center. A one-stop shop, the Buchanan Clubhouse features a restaurant and café, assembly room, branch bank, Clubhouse Market, mail room, hair salon, creative arts room, library and lounge. The centrally located Grand Lodge Hall encompasses a majestic restaurant and café, outdoor terrace for dining and entertainment, tavern, assembly room, lounges, salon and spa, post office, recreation centers, art studio, billiards, multimedia lifelong learning center, library and Village Gift Shoppe.
On the Menu Whatever pleases your palate, find it at one of our eight dining venues: three restaurants, three cafés, a coffee shop and a tavern. A seasonal outdoor venue is open during warmer months. Seven Things to Know 1. Anyone age 60 and older may apply. For couples, one person needs to be age 60 and the other at least age 55. Anyone age 55 and older may sign up for the priority list. For additional requirements, please contact the Sales & Marketing Office. 2. Moves average approximately three months, and Masonic Village has various resources to assist you. 3. We know your pets are part of your family, so you may bring up to two into your new home. Weâ€™ll provide specific guidelines based on your preferred residence. 4. Masonic Village has a designated parking area for your RV/motor home or boat at no additional charge, so you can keep adventuring. 5. Residents who are able to ride without assistance may use our shuttle service for transportation throughout the campus and local community. We also offer transportation to off-campus appointments for a nominal charge. 6. Masonic Village may provide support to qualifying individuals who may no longer be able to afford their services, at some point in the future, for reasons beyond their control. Our staff can provide specific guidelines to those who meet the requirements. 7. All residents receive preferred access to the Masonic Health Care Center on a fee-for-service basis depending on specific medical condition(s).
Apartments Rental Plan
Apartments offered under a rental plan at Masonic Village offer the right amount of space for a variety of budgets. For one convenient monthly fee, weâ€™ll handle maintenance and housekeeping, while you enjoy everything the campus has to offer. There are no entrance fees. Rental plan apartments are located throughout campus in the Allegheny, Daman, Dauphin, Grand Lodge Hall, Kuhlemeier, Lancaster, Levis, McKee North, McKee South, Brown, Village, Louis Eisenlohr, Charles Eisenlohr, Smith North and Smith South buildings. Each residence varies in size and includes wall-to-wall carpeting, sheer curtains, emergency call system, smoke detector and individually-controlled thermostats. Every building provides washers and dryers.

At-Home Care Home Health Services offer a range of services if you need care following an injury, illness or posthospitalization recovery, in your home. Services may include skilled nursing; physical, occupational and speech therapy; medical social work; the assistance of a home health aide; disease and pain management; blood sugar and blood pressure monitoring; and more. Home health is a benefit covered by Medicare and many other insurances. Home Care Services are non-medical and focus on assisting with activities of daily living, meal preparation, household services, errands, medication reminders, transportation and other individualized services in the comfort of your home. They are available whether you need some assistance after an injury or illness, or need a companion while your spouse runs errands. These services are not covered by Medicare and are paid privately.
Hospice Services Hospice has a special way of caring for patients with a limited life expectancy in the comfort of their homes. Services focus on the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of patients and their loved ones. Our hospice staff promote comfort and self-determination, enabling patients and their families to participate in making decisions about their end-of-life care. Services include: • • • • • •

The Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic offers physical, occupational and speech therapy. The Masonic Village Pharmacy is located in the Sycamore Square Marketplace at the front of the campus and provides delivery services. Lancaster General Health Physicians Family Medicine, also located in the Sycamore Square Marketplace, includes physician and nurse practitioner services.
Transitional Care Unit for Short-term Rehabilitation Our professional staff, state-of-the-art therapy equipment and comfortable accommodations will help you on your road to recovery. Our goal is to return you to your home, on- or off-campus, as soon as possible. Shortterm rehabilitation can help you recover from: • Orthopedic conditions - hip fracture, total joint replacement, amputation • Cardiac events - congestive heart failure, heart attack, coronary artery bypass grafting

Each neighborhood features a common living area, spacious kitchen and dining area and family room.
Memory Support Those with Alzheimerâ€™s disease and other related dementias receive personalized care in three neighborhoods tailored to maintain each individualâ€™s dignity and respect within a secured environment. Staff are specially trained to provide compassionate care, and residents are encouraged to participate in all aspects of their care for as long as they are able, providing a sense of purpose. The two Lafayette neighborhoods are divided into higher and lower functioning areas so staff can target programs to meet the needs of each resident. Both neighborhoods include a recreation area, spacious kitchen and dining area and family room. Outdoor courtyards enhance therapeutic recreation and sensory stimulation and inspire memories. The Garden Path neighborhood is designed to meet the needs of individuals in the later stages of dementia. It features spacious, comfortable rooms and a large, bright common area, where residents can explore and be actively involved in their surroundings.
Financial Assistance The Masonic Health Care Center is Medicare- and Medicaid-approved. Generous donations enable Masonic Village to offer financial assistance to those who qualify. It is required that your financial resources are preserved for the cost of your care and services, and our staff will help you to identify all available financial assistance when needed. 21

Bleiler Caring Cottage: Up to eight adults with mild to moderate developmental disabilities reside in this cottage, where support services enable them to reach their potential and enjoy independence. Congregation of Sell Chapel: This non-denominational congregation meets in the John S. Sell Memorial Chapel on campus and invites Masonic Village residents and community members to worship with them. The congregation’s outreach ministry responds to a variety of individual needs and to the community at large. Farm Market: Find a variety of seasonal produce, including apples, peaches and cherries at the Farm Market, which is open year-round. STEP 1: Contact the Sales & Marketing Office to schedule an appointment and personal tour. STEP 2: Following the reservation of your apartment, townhome or cottage, we’ll provide you with an application to complete and return within 14 days.
STEP 4: Upon approval of your application, we’ll send a copy of the resident agreement for you to review, sign and return within two weeks. Entrance fee plan - Upon signing the resident agreement, 10% of the entrance fee (minus the application deposit) is payable on your reserved residence. If you decide not to continue with the application process, we’ll refund your 10% payment (minus the application deposit) following a seven-day rescission period. Within 90 days of signing the resident agreement, or upon occupancy, whichever is sooner, the balance of the entrance fee is due. Within 60 days, or upon occupancy, whichever is sooner, the first monthly service fee is due. Rental plan - The balance of the first month’s rent is due when you sign the resident agreement. If you’d like to plan for the future, you can submit an application for our priority list.
Priority List Applications Entrance fee priority list - Include a $1,000 deposit to place your name on this list. Rental plan priority list - Include a $200 deposit to place your name on this list. If you choose to place your name on more than one list, include each applicable deposit. All deposits will be credited to your application deposit when you apply for a retirement living residence. We’ll notify you when your preferred residence is available, at which point an additional deposit is due for the entrance fee plan, but not the rental plan.
