We are proud to introduce the Pacific Marine Mammal Center as a new recipient of our Armenta Angels Community Outreach program. Pacific Marine Mammal Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of marine mammals stranded along the Orange County coastline and to the increasing public awareness of the marine environment through education and research. There will be a collection box in the lobby for donations of the items on the list below. On August 14, we will be visiting the PMMC and turning in our collected donations.

At Armenta Learning Academy we aim to provide students with opportunities to grow through a wide variety of human interactions. This growth is nurtured through the foundations of enriching environments, such as the small class size and interactive field trips. We offer summer activities that provide students with hands-on, tactile experiences in addition to the classroom environment. Many of the summer activities serve as extensions to the regular school year curriculum. At ALA we help students to not fall behind and to prepare for the upcoming school year. We offer across the curriculum summer activities. We are also available for summer tutorial support. Armenta Learning Academy aims to give students an opportunity to develop and “field test” the many skills and attitudes that are introduced during their time with us. This provides the foundation necessary to foster growth in self -awareness and confidence. ALA’s classes also enhance the development of talents, personal interests, social skills and esteem. Armenta Learning Academy offers additional classes which are tailored to the student as enrichment to the student’s regular curriculum structure. These classes are elective and complimentary to the traditional instructional curriculum, including a variety of courses that provide students with enrichment opportunities which cannot be provided through regular classroom activities. Our small class size, one on one educational support, and pace determined by the individual have so much to offer the student enabling them to reach success through newfound skills.
