Operation  RoundUpÂŽ  Program Small  Change  Changes  Lives There  are  many  non-profits  that  need  assistance,  but  sometimes  as  an  individual  it  is  hard  to  reach  them  all,  much  less  sort  through  funding  requests,   validity,  and  community  need.    That’s  why  PRECorp  is  making  it  easier  for   members  to  make  a  small  individual  contribution  that  affects  their  communities  in  a  big  way. Operation  RoundUpÂŽ  gathers  voluntary  contributions  from  participating   FRRSPHPEHUVE\ÂłURXQGLQJXS´WKHLUPRQWKO\ELOOVWRWKHQH[WGROODUă resulting  in  an  average  donation  of  roughly  $6  per  year,  per  account,  which   is  distributed  to  worthy  local  causes  by  a  Board  of  Directors  made  up  of  the   current  Powder  River  Energy  Corporation  Board  of  Directors.

Small  change?   Lots   of   small   change   can   equal   a   big   impact.   Donations   gathered  will  be  awarded  to  non-profits  and  civic  organizations  in  PRECorp   communities.     The   funds   are   administered   through   the   Powder   River   Energy   Foundation,   a   501   (c)(3)   non-profit   organization,   to   help   maximize   the   effectiveness  of  a  member’s   individual   contributions   by   combining   them   with   the   contributions   of   others   and   distributing   them   throughout  PRECorp  communities.   Making  it  easier  for  members  by  taking  care  of  administrative  details  is  a   big  benefit  of  the  Operation  RoundUpŽ    program,  but  the  best  part  of  Operation  RoundUpŽ  is  that  is  an  extension  of  the  “neighbor  helping  neighbor  concept  that  built  our  electric  cooperative  62  years  ago.  Just  as  those   early  pioneers  of  electricity  in  northeast  Wyoming  formed  an  electric  cooperative  together  to  provide  power  to  all,  so  does  Operation  RoundUpŽ   bring  together  individual  members  to  provide  assistance  to  communities   in  need. Singing  Up  is  easy.  Simply  check  the  box  on  the  Powder  River  Energy  Corporation  Bill,  call  the  Customer  Service  department  at  800-442-3630  or  enroll  online  at  www.precorp.coop

What  Does  It  Mean  to  Be  a  Touchstone   Energy  Electric  Cooperative?   Touchstone  Energy  is  a  nationwide  alliance  of  more  than   600   non-profit   electric   cooperatives.   Each   is   memberowned  and  dedicated  to  upholding  the  co-op  principles   of  innovation,  integrity,  accountability  and  commitment   to  community.  Powder  River  Energy  belongs  to  this  nationwide   resource.   By   being   a   Touchstone   Energy   Cooperative,   Powder   River   Energy   combines   ideas   and   resources  with  co-ops   in   Wyoming   and   across   the   United   States.   In   unity,   all   co-op  members  gain   strength.   In   unity,   cooperatives  can  tell   their  story  to  legislators,   communities,   and  each  other.     Touchstone   Energy   provides   benefits   to   members   by   helping   co-ops   communicate   and   serve   through   community   outreach   programs,   economic   development   tools,  cooperative  trainings  in  member  service,  and  residential  and  commercial  energy  efficiency  resources.

Recently  an   energy   efficiency   initiative   was   launched   nationwide   by   Touchstone   energy.   It   is   an   ongoing   effort  by  cooperatives  to  support  member  owners  in  identifying   and   estimating   savings   that   can   be   attained   by   taking   energy   efficiency   measures.   As   a   cooperative,   PRECorp   understands   the   power   of   community.   We   know   what   can   be   accomplished  when   individuals   come   together   to   meet   a   common   goal.   This   is   our   roots;   this   is   how   the   electric   cooperatives   were   formed.

When  Powder   River   Energy   members   see  the  Touchstone  brand  at  the  Annual  Meeting,  or  on   linemen  shirts,  they  can  know  that  Powder  River  Energy   is  working  with  over  600  electric  cooperatives  to  ensure   our  members’  voices  are  heard.   Visit  Touchstone  Energy  at  http://www.touchstoneenergy.com  for  more  information  on  the  many  programs   available  to  members.

Help Us Help You: Keep Your Account Information Current

Power  Lines

Keeping  your  account  information  up-to-date  helps  us,  help  you.  When  outages  occur  PRECorp  relies  on  accurate  phone  numbers,  account  information   and  service  descriptions.      A  service  description  is  what  you  provide  us  to   describe  the  location  of  your  meter  that  is  meaningful  to  you.    An  example   description  might  be  “stockwell  in  north  pasture.   For  accounts  with  multiple  addresses,  such  as  corporate  accounts,  it  helps  us   to  know  which  one  is  the  billing  address  and  which  one  is  the  location  address.    For  rental  properties  and  seasonal  accounts,  it  is  also  important  to  keep   account  information  current. Account  information  can  be  changed  by  reviewing  your  bill,  writing  your   changes  on  the  bill  and  mailing  it  back  to  PRECorp  with  your  payment  or  by   calling  one  of  our  Customer  Service  Representatives.   Reminder:  When  you  experience  a  power  outage,  be  sure  to  call  our  specific   outage  number  (888-391-6220)  to  report  the  outage.  Don’t  assume  we  know   you  are  without  power!
