Victoria Perez has been training in a large range of styles, such as Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, and Hip-Hop, since the age of 3. Coming to the Pacific Northwest from her home state of Texas, Victoria is obtaining her undergraduate degree in dance at Pacific University. She has an enormous passion for dance and hopes to continue to pass that onto her students. Ballet for Two | Ballet | Jazz | Tap

Danielle Potter has been teaching at Laurelhurst Dance Studio since the Spring of 2015 and is now the Lead Instructor. She shares a passion for dance in diverse communities as well as an overall goal to someday achieve her dream of owning her own Dance Studio, bringing her love of dance to those around her- big and small. Michelle Johnson’s love of dance stems from her youth with Portland Parks & Recreation. Seeing students find joy in this art form is a wonderful part of her continued involvement. Michelle choreographs performance pieces for students seeking opportunities on stage. She has specialized for over ten years in teaching ballet to students with encouragement and commitment to technique and artistry. Adult Recreational Dance Company | Youth Ballet Academy

Anika De Vore has been training in classical ballet since the age of 3. She began dancing professionally at 16 years old in her native city of San Diego. From there, she went on to train with the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago and dance with Milwaukee Ballet's second company. She has also spent her summers training with these companies as well as Boston Ballet. She cherishes the ability to use dance as a means of expression and strives to pass this on to her students. Megan Dawn comes to Laurelhurst Studio with a background in Ballet, Modern, Improvisation, Dance Performance, and Dance History. She studied Fine Art at Pacific Northwest College of Art and has performed in Idaho and Portland. An award winning choreographer, Megan brings enthusiasm and talent to her classes. Amber Gudaitis is an internationally trained dancer, musician and choreographer. As an instructor, Gudaitis holds a special passion for working with dancers of all experience levels. She encourages a positive learning environment which fosters creativity, imagination and a welcoming atmosphere. PreBallet | Youth Ballet Academy

Jessica Taylor's love of dance began at an early age, as her mother was a dancer and gymnast. While attending the University of Oregon, Jessica enjoyed studying modern/contemporary dance. While exploring new teaching and choreography ideas, Jessica likes to focus on finding identity and empowerment through movement. She enjoys teaching people of all ages, encouraging them to begin at any level so they may experience the joys of dance. Kayla Banks has a BA in Performing Arts and Business Administration. She has studied and performed in Colorado and Portland. She is excited to teach at Laurelhurst Dance Studio and bring her positivity and artistry to us. PreBallet | Youth Ballet Academy

Elizabeth Whelan is a movement-based artist, choreographer, teacher, writer, and yogi. She holds a BFA in Dance from George Mason University. She has performed alongside The Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra, Robert Battle’s Mass with the GMU Percussion Ensemble, freelanced with D.C.-based Company E at the Kennedy Center as well as with Putty Dance Project in Philadelphia. Her writing on dance has been published in Philadelphia's The Dance Journal and Oregon Arts Watch. Elizabeth now works for Whitebird and continues to create and present new works as an independent choreographer and dancer. Contemporary | Tap
