2/7 Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge (Ridgfield, WA) 5.2-rt/100 8 am - 4 pm Easy. Hike through wildlife habitat, including a large concentration of waterfowl. Bring waterproof boots as the trail can be very muddy.
2/14 Herman Creek - Wyeth Camp (OR Gorge) 6-1w/800 8 am - 4 pm Easy. A stately forest of big leaf maple & Douglas fir provides quiet hiking on this rarely used trail. Travel over talus slopes with nice views of the Columbia River.

2/28 Lower Deschutes River (OR Gorge) 7.6-rt/800 8 am – 5 pm Moderate. The pungent smell of sage bushes fill the air while hiking past rapids along this world renowned river. There’s a chance of seeing a magpie, bald eagle or osprey.
3/7 Catherine Creek Area (WA Gorge) 7-rt/900 8 am – 5 pm Moderate. Travel on an abandoned ranch road, crossing over a small stream which leads to an old corral near the base of a natural rock arch in this park-like valley. Hike to the upper meadow & enjoy views of the Gorge.
3/14 Silver Falls (Salem) 7-lp/600 8 am - 5 pm Moderate. Wind through this beautiful forest canyon. Witness a shimmering silver curtain as you pass behind three of the ten stunning waterfalls.
3/21 Eagle Creek (OR Gorge) 6.6-rt/600 8 am – 4 pm Moderate. Enjoy this spectacular trail of cedars & mossy maple, yellow monkey flowers & maidenhair ferns. Pass three waterfalls & cross over a colossal Gorge bridge.

Experience sword fern, towering western hemlock, moss-laden big leaf maples along Shellburg Creek & its waterfalls. 10 391415 4/4 Dalles Mountain (WA Gorge) 8-rt/2500 8 am - 5 pm Difficult. Unique views of the eastern part of the Gorge from this high desert with a picturesque waterfall & fields of wildflowers.
