HOW TO REQUEST INCLUSION SERVICES • Choose the activity you would like to participate in, and register for that class. • Contact Inclusion Services at 971-284-5060. • If this is your first time requesting accommodations through Inclusion Services, you will need to complete either a phone intake or an Accommodation Form that can be sent over email. This process is to help determine what level of accommodation is needed for the participant. • Future assistance will be provided based on need. The inclusion staff will work with the instructor on how to support you and your individual needs. IMPORTANT DETAILS • A general program may be adapted using auxiliary aids and services, but the basic structure of the program remains the same. • Accommodations are made as needed and can be flexible, as well creative. • Participants need to register for activities that are intended for their birth age. • Personal care is provided for activities for individuals up to age 12. • For sign language interpreter please call 2 working days prior to the class. • We request at least 10 working days’ notice prior to start of class. Set & reach new skateboarding goals while building healthy confidence on your board! This camp provides recreational opportunities for youth with disabilities, siblings & friends. Learn about skate park etiquette, safety practices, & skateboarding fundamentals. Improve balance, mechanics, riding skills & control. Get up, get excited! Let's skate!

DROP-IN Bowling For Fun age 10 - adult

Senior / Adaptive Swim

Have fun with your friends while knocking down pins. Beginners to advanced bowlers are welcome. Bring $5 for one game or $10 for two. To accommodate bowlers who wish to play every week & don’t want to hassle with bringing money each time, we offer a 20 game punch card for $100. Bowling begins at 3:00pm. Shoes are free. Come join us for Senior/ Adaptive Swim! You can use our warm water pool to swim laps, do your own exercises, walk with or against the current channel & use the whirl pool spa. It’s a great time to meet others & have a quiet time to exercise. All adults & seniors are welcome with paid admission. 1 Lane Leisure Pool. Pool supporting multiple programs. Have fun dancing to a DJ or a band. Socialize with friends, both new & old. Refreshments are provided. Cost for participants is $5. Facility staff & parents get in free, but donations are kindly accepted to help with the cost. Group & foster home staff must stay to assist their participants in the dance unless prior arrangements have been made with AIR by calling 503-823-2883.

AccessTrails profiles 36 trails in the greater Portland-Vancouver region. Discover these popular and sometimes hidden gems. Information provided on the trails will help people of all abilities determine if a trail may be usable or desirable before they go. Visit www.AccessTrails.org. 8

Did you know we had an Air Museum right across the bridge? Come find out about the lives of people who were part the fur trade & westward expansion. In the Chief Factor’s House, find about Dr. John McLoughlin & his aid for American settlers in the Pacific Northwest. So much to see & so little time. Silver Creek Falls

Known as the “crown jewel” of the Oregon State Parks system, & once you visit, you know why. Silver Falls State Park is a standout scenic treasure. Follow the trail around breathtaking waterfalls & along a winding creek at the forest floor. This hike will be

Rail Museum & Tram

Today we are off to see how many different types of transportation we can use. We will ride our 15-passenger bus to the train Museum, where we will spend the morning exploring old rail cars. Columbia Gorge Day of Fun

Come explore the interpretive center with us! Check out the time prints that are boldly etched on the walls of the Columbia Gorge that records a 40-millionyear-long story of change, endurance & majesty. The first human imprints in the Gorge were left by the Indian cultures that flourished here for thousands of years. Bring $10 for admission & $20 for lunch in Washington on our way. Chehalis-Centralia Railroad

Gaze at the scenery on a nine-mile train ride. The Chehalis-Centralia is one of the few remaining steam-powered passenger railroads in Washington state. Our trek winds through the scenic upper Chehalis River valley, crossing over several wooden trestles & passing many historic farms. Everyone loves a parade! Experience the pageantry, beauty & excitement watching from our reserved seats inside the Memorial Coliseum. Inclement Weather Policy If the City of Portland public school districts (Portland Public, Parkrose, David Douglas, Reynolds, and Centennial) are closed because of weather conditions, PP&R classes and youth basketball in those school districts may be cancelled. We recommend that you check in with your community centers for the latest information about individual registered programs and activities. Some recreation programs may run as conditions and instructor availability allow. Decisions to operate on a specific site basis are made when it is determined that all programs may operate safely. Call the specific PP&R facility for information and opening/closing times. If inclement weather is forecast on weekends or holidays, call the PP&R facility or program for operating hours and activity cancellations. Updates to schedules will also be made on our website (portlandparks.org) and our Facebook pages.
