Autism & Behaviors

Exploring not only how the communication challenges, difficulty with social interaction & engagement in repetitive behaviors associated with Autism impact behavior but the importance of minimizing those challenges. Class includes simple strategies for relaxation, environmental modification, & offering choice & control. There will be opportunities for participants to share & ask questions. Is it Pain or Behavior?

This class focus: Learn to recognize pain or behavior... sleuth out? Symptoms and medical needs of adults & children with intellectual or developmental disabilities. This class will spotlight pain and pain management. Appropriate for anyone providing care and support for people in this population.
