WomenStrength Age 13+

WomenStrength is a program of the Portland Police Bureau and has provided free empowerment based self-defense classes since 1979. WomenStrength is open to teenage and adult women of all abilities and backgrounds. The minimum age is 13 and young women ages 13-16 are to be accompanied by a female adult. This introductory class is designed to help participants identify their risks, and evaluate their strengths and to explore their options for dealing with the threat of assault.
