The teacher tells students her story about how she got to study English pedagogy career and ask students why is important to have a profession and students comment.

Students are given a handout with two short text of people who had two different professions. Students work in groups to answer the questions regarding the texts. They must write complete answers.

Students read their answers in groups in front of the class. Also, they must recognize the tense of the texts and explain why they think that.

Students are given a feedback about their development in the activity and a review of present simple use.
