Courtyard Pune Hinjewadi Celebrates Hindu Festival of Colors Associates from the Courtyard by Marriott Pune Hinjewadi (India) celebrated Holi, the Hindu festival of colors, by spreading joy to children at a nearby orphanage in Dapodi, Pune. They visited the home and presented the children with eco-friendly Holi “colors” (colored powder) and pichkaaris (water guns). The children had great fun splashing and splattering the powder on one another. Knowing that no Holi celebration is complete without festive treats, chefs from the hotel prepared special sweets for the children. At the end of the day, the children gathered around the associates to express their happiness. One child said the day had been “the best Holi my friends and I have ever had.”
