All emotions are just fine to put into your art. Just allow yourself to move freely though the process. Stay less in the analytical mind and more in kinesthetic learning and silent noticing. Again, learn to feel into the painting and be delighted by the journey. With a beginner’s mind we have infinite possibilities and a new world lies ahead, but you must take the time (and I mean a good deal of time) to do the work. The joy, the discovery, the possibilities, the learning (and un-learning) happen by witnessing, becoming inspired and devoting hours of art time for yourself.
Comparison is the thief of joy. –Theodore Roosevelt
