Say Hello To DJ Jamalot

EVERY

WEDNESDAY Private Lessons

Wednesdays 7–8 p.m. Individual Sessions Only. Intermediate Guitar & Beginning Bass Guitar. 1 Lesson per week. $25 per student. Terry Hill starting performing as DJ Jamalot at many of the clubs on the Monterey Peninsula in the late 80’s. He’s played for the Enlisted and NCO Clubs at Fort Ord. He has even performed here on the DLI at the old Edge Club. He is very well respected within the DJ community and he continues to “keep it in the mix” while staying relevant and playing to his crowds. With the technological advances to the DJ community by way of digital music and video, he no longer has to lug around those crates of records, only his trusty Mac Book Pro’s in their stead. Welcome to HSAC Terry.

Group Course

Wednesdays 6–7 p.m. Groups of 3-6 Students Beginning Guitar. 12 One-Hour Lessons. 12 Weeks/1 Lesson per week. $100 per student. Advance payment required for all lessons.

You have to bring your own acoustic guitar (no electrics) to each lesson. You will learn music theory fundamentals in order to grasp not just a level of proficiency with the instrument, but an understanding of its place in a small rock or jazz combo. The group classes will conclude with a short ensemble recital. Lessons will be held at Hobson Center Activity Center.

Family Readiness Group

The FRG is an organization of Family Members, volunteers, soldiers/civilian employees, belonging to a unit/organization. Together, they provide an avenue of mutual support and assistance, and a network of communication among the Family Members, the Chain of Command and Community Resources. 229th MI BN Soldiers, Family Member, or other members of the DLIFLC Army team may find this a useful resource. Contact ACS at 242-7660 or your Family Readiness Assistant Debbie Simpson at 242-6677 for more information.

Armed Forces Team Building

Armed Forces Team Building is a fun program that was developed by military spouses for military spouses. Come meet a new group of friends and learn about the chain of command, how to read an LES and much, much more. Classes are taught by a military spouse on Tuesdays at the Stilwell Community Center.
