Size Spacing and breathability of the brand

Use of space around branding is important for successful impact and memorability of the brand. As lack of space within any given usage is always going to be different, the minimum visual distance is typically recommended. Often, as a rule of thumb, eyeballing 1/2 height or 50% of the width of the brand, as a bare minimum of visual breathable space, is often suitable. This is displayed below.

Isolation Branding Isolation As a secondary rule of thumb, the basic measure of height and width of 50% of logo height of space around the brand on all sides can also be utilized for appropriate branding isolation. The purpose of isolation is to deliver the appropriate brand impact upon visual observance of the brand. Degradation of the experience visually can occur when branding isolation has failed.

The above Pantone colors speciification should be used where ever possible. When Pantone colors are not availble for real-world application then use the CMYK values indicated. When designing for the web then the above RGB or HTML values can be used. According to Pantone Bridge each of the selected Pantone colors are, reasonably accurately, reproducible out of CMYK and RGB. This ensures that wherever the logo applied the brand colors will keep a level of continuity.
