Completed 22nd season as Head Coach at UW-Stevens Point in 2009. 20 Winning Seasons in the toughest Division III conference in the nation. 2007 ALL-American Football Foundation John Vaught Head Coach Award (Excellent Performance as a Head Coach). 2005 Wisconsin Football Coaches Association-Hall of FameInductee. Collegiate overall record as a head coach: 145-75-2. Finished 1st or 2nd thirteen times in WIAC over the last 21 years. Best win-loss record in UW-Stevens Point’s 114 year history. #4 All-time in WIAC with 145 wins. 2008/2001//1998 WIAC Coach of the Year. 2008/2001/1998 Wisconsin College Coach of the Year. Coached in eleven (11) post-season playoff games as an assistant and head coach. Coached the #1 passing team in the nation (NCAA III), twice. Coached individuals and teams that set 68 school and NCAA records. Coached UW-Stevens Point’s first GTE Academic AllAmerican. Coached two (2) NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship recipient in the sport of football (1997,1999). Annually, 30+ student-athletes in the sport of football are WIAC Scholar-Athlete recipients. Assistant Camp Director for the 1995 Summer Training Camp for the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars.
