Retired Bainbridge High School teacher Ralph Cheadle, and Kate Carruthers, director of the upcoming Bainbridge Performing Arts production of the “Kentucky Cycle,” will discuss how the play both draws upon and illuminates 200 years of the American history and mythology. The play is a 1992 Pulitzer Prize winner by Robert Schenkkan, about three Kentucky families from 1775 to 1975, and examines the myths of America that have, for better or for worse, created the country we live in today.
