Planetary Health Planetary Health is the health of human civilization and natural system. The environment degradation poses a threat to human health and environment. This program is designed to identify the interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches to face the challenges to planetary health. Professional Mobility This program is designed to enhance awareness of the participants related to the ethical recruitment practices for nurses.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Planetary Health 1. Discuss determinants and trends of planetary health in the Anthropocene epoch. 2. Describe the effects on human health of global warming and the deteriorating quality of land, air, water and ecosystem. 3. Identify the role and commitment of nurses in a multi-sectoral and synergistic approach in promoting planetary health. Professional Mobility 4. Engage foreign-educated nurses in the new paradigm for accountability in international professional mobility. 5. Discuss unfair and discriminatory practices in the healthcare settings. 6. Identify ways how to protect the rights of nurses. 2
