Being part of IHC Merwede’s Technology & Services division, IHC Handling Systems has a rich history as an innovative ‘problem solving’ company experienced through various offshore installation or removal ‘challenges’. Together with our sister companies IHC Hydrohammer and IHC Sea Steel we can offer a full package of offshore installation equipment, focusing on high quality products and services.
IHC Hydrohammer B.V. designs, builds and supplies hydraulic piling hammers, for on- and offshore use and is known throughout the world for its innovative approach.
IHC Offshore Systems is part of IHC Merwede Group, is ISO 9001:2000 certified, and supplies the full engineering part for special lifting, handling, and transporting systems. As an EPIC subcontractor IHC Offshore Systems develops products which are either utilized on one of the new build vessels at one of our four yards or delivered directly to the client. Due to our solution-aimed engineering and understanding of interfaces between vessel and equipment we can supply a perfect outfit for our customers.
Our operational territory covers the entire globe, focusing on: - Jacket and structure installation - Mooring installation - Pipeline installation - Decommissioning of structure and pipelines - Installation of offshore wind farms. Besides our standard range of handling equipment such as Internal Lifting Tools (ILT), leveling tools, hydraulic release shackle IHC design and fabricate a wide range of special equipment as a response to the installation ‘challenges’ faced by our customers. Over the years this ‘solution driven thinking’ has helped IHC Handling Systems to build up their reputation as a innovative ‘problem solving’ company. Most of the equipment is also available for hire, allowing customers to benefit from high quality, expertly maintained equipment without costly investments.
This innovative approach is not simply confined to the hammers, but also extends to entirely new piling techniques, foundation equipment and hammer accessories, with a view to making pile driving more efficient, more controllable, less noisy and more widely usable.
