Visit the top of North Brother Mountain - it has amazing views of the whole coast, picnic spots, and three different lookouts. You can either drive or hike up, which takes 1.5-2 hours return depending on your fitness levels. Dunbogan Boatshed - a coffee shop right on the river, they have little cups of food you can throw over to feed the fish. The kids love it! You can also hire kayaks and BBQ boats

Walking along the Camden Haven River - don’t underestimate the beauty of walking along the Camden Haven River from the North Haven break wall to Laurieton. There is a section along North Haven where there are grey nurse sharks and dolphins Favourite beach in the region? Rainbow Beach at Bonny Hills – my son loves the water with the waves here. Around the corner at Spoonies Bay you can also explore the rock pools and sea creatures. Favourite coffee spot?

Miss Nellie’s Cafe – it is a beautiful drive out to Kendall not too far from Laurieton. They have delicious baked sweet treats and a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Favourite secret spots or hidden gems? Kattang Nature Reserve – there are three different walks you can do: in spring time there is a flower bowl circuit and at every time of the year there is something you can do there. It is also the perfect spot for whale watching.
