Transfer The season is over. Clubs are counting their blessing as well as losses and would like to make amends and even beef up their squads where noticeable lapses exist. And the transfer market is agog barely 24 hours after major European leagues dropped the curtain. And so to keep abreast with latest rumours, we begin daily doses of movements within the market both for players and coaches like.

Everton eye £5m Liverpool star

M

oyes is gauging what the reaction would be to his fellow Scot making the first Anfield-to-Goodison transfer since 1992 Liverpool will sell Charlie Adam for a knockdown £5million and Everton boss David Moyes is poised to make a sensational move for him. Scotland midfielder Adam is being offered around behind the scenes because he will not be a starter under new Kop boss Brendan Rodgers, just a year after predecessor Kenny Dalglish bought him from Blackpool for £9m. Moyes wanted his fellow Scot before he was priced out of his range and still rates the former Rangers schemer highly although he is looking into the potential pitfalls of buying Adam.

Rovers reject Bunn offer

B

lackburn Rovers have rejected a bid for goalkeeper Mark Bunn from Premier League Norwich City. Rovers rejected a bid in the region of £500,000 for Bunn from the Canaries out of hand and do not expect either him or number one Paul Robinson to quit this summer. Bunn will not be fit for Saturday’s big Championship kick off at Ipswich, and could be on the sidelines for another month having suffered a recurrence of a hip injury he has suffered from for most of the summer. Robinson is the man of possession of the number one shirt for the start of the campaign but Rovers are keen to keep hold of Bunn to provide the necessary competition between the posts.

Dortmund has already informed the clubs interested in Lewandowski that he will remain at Westfalenstadion until the end of his contract.

A

The Gunners are thought to want around £18million for the Cameroon international but Barcelona is short of that valuation and

talks are continuing. Wenger and Song have an adequate working relationship but sources close to the player claim it has become strained at times.
