Beyond the conceptual design, Pluspuu provides all necessary architectural plans and technical drawings required to bring your vision to life.

From your initial call with Pluspuu’s expert home consultants, to the delivery of your homes Log & Timber Kit to the build site, the process can take up to 8 months To account for any unforeseen obstacles, we would recommend scheduling your initial discovery call with the Pluspuu team, one year prior to your desired move in date.

Building a custom home should be a journey of excitement, not a source of stress. Our Turnkey Services are designed for the client who values simplicity, quality, & peace of mind. From trees to keys; we manage every detail of your project! Pluspuu Homes are manufactured as a pre-engineered log product & built on-site by Pluspuu’s expertly trained in-house construction crew. We coordinate the full spectrum of the build from custom designs and manufacturing to managing sub-trades to final finishing touches we ensure a seamless transition from concept to completion! Focus on the dream; we'll handle the rest.
LOG STRUCTURE
Pluspuu homes are made with a five-ply (CLT) cross laminated engineered log. The logs are kiln dried to a moisture level of 9%, which provides added structural durability & strength while removing checking, twisting or warping. A truly advanced log system that removes all of the traditional maintenance, issues and headaches associated with traditional log homes
NON-SETTLING LOG
The non-settling log permits the use of a wide range of advanced architectural solutions and structural details, such as windows and doors without covering strips. While the non-settling log system is more expensive than the lamella log, the difference in price is compensated by the fact that no allowance needs to be made for settling and there is no need for post-construction adjustments of screw jacks, windows, doors, etc. Non-settling logs are made of spruce or pine.

We use an engineered 8”x 8” white spruce crosslaminated log to build our Scandinavian log homes Pluspuu Homes Canada has pre-designed all our existing models as four-season dwellings, capable of withstanding even the harshest Canadian Winters. Pluspuu homes offer clean, precision cut mitred corner joints that offer a tight connection and a sharp finish. True Scandinavian design. This joint construction combined with airtight and watertight log seals ensures a modern look, while delivering enhanced energy efficiency The logs are connected using mitred corner joints thereby eliminating the need for traditional overlapping joints that simply do not offer the same modern look.
