Join us for a compline service at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Seattle! Sunday, April 27th We will meet at 7:30 in the Campus ministry office and return at 11:00 pm Transportation is provided. Compline, a meditative and contemplative service, is traditionally the final service of the day in many worshiping communities. These ancient prayers are sung by the Compline Choir while attendants are invited to listen and meditate.

Relay For Life 2014 Schedule

PLU RElay for Life, American Cancer Society.

Friday, April 25-26. Begins at 6:00PM in Red Square. Come support the fight against cancer, have fun all night long with friends. There will be plenty of entertainment and food. Learn about the Merits of Fair Trade Join us on Monday, April 28th from 4:00-5:30 pm for coffee and a discussion of fair trade. We gather in CK East in the Anderson University Center.

Thursday, April 24, 6PM The Regency Room, AUC Sponsored by the English Department Marissa Meyer is the author of the best-selling series The Lunar Chronicles: Cinder, Scarlett, Cress. She was born in Tacoma and attended PLU, where she received a degree in creative writing.

We will be joined by Nestor Rodriguez and Frederick Jimenez, two Nicaraguan coffee growers, who now help coffee farmers band together for the fair trade sale of their coffee. Joining Nestor and Frederick is Parker Townley, National Organizer – Fair Trade Colleges & Universities. Bring your interests and your questions as we will have the opportunity for a lengthy discussion after a short presentation. This event is sponsored by ASPLU, The PLU American Marketing Association and Campus Ministry.
