In answer to r1n invitation extended by Parade Chairman Archie Burfoo I, S[leaking for the Tlmrslon Co•mty Fire Association, McChord fire-fighting cquipm"'nl: will take part in a parade lo be held in· Olympia on July 17. The statecl purpose of the Fire Association is "To make people more fire. conscious." Captain William Hicks of the McChord .F'irc Department has said tlrnt McChord is always willing and cager to help further such worthy causes. The plans call for a large panel-type truck with appropi' ate signs and decorations attached to hold a prominent place in the parade lineup.

.bell, Mrs. Bernie Carlson, Mrs. Goldie Grout, Mrs. Gladys Lambert, Mrs. Della. Peterson and Mrs. Esther Almaas, and four grandchildren. All are of Tacoma.
Mr. and Mrs. Kirk <E. K.) Bodhaine are the proud parents of a new son born to them on the 7th of June in the St. Joseph hospital in Tacoma. Mathew Kirk weighed 7 pounds 7 ozs. at birth and has two sisters, Lea and Gina, at home. Grandparents are Mr. W. C. DeBaun of Waller road and Mrs. Mary Bodhaine of Tacoma.
