Writing an Estimate with Salesforce Login

1. Login to the Community section of Salesforce: https://www.ikeakitchenservices.com 2. Contact your direct manager for login credentials. Use ‘Forgot Password’ when needed. 3. Once logged in, click on the Planner Tab in the main menu to access work orders.

Once you begin to go live with assigned work orders, they will appear here in this section.

4. When on the Planner Tab, click the down arrow next to ‘All Work Orders’ shown in Figure 1.3 to access different list views. 5. Select ‘My Virtual Planning Work Order’ from the list to see the work orders assigned to your account. 6. Locate the work order that needs an estimate completed.

7. Select the Opportunity associated with the estimate, shown in Figure 1.5. 8. On the Opportunity page, select ‘New Quote’ on the right section of the screen. Shown in Figure 1.6.

9. A window will pop out for the new quote. 10. Fill in all required fields. 11. Select save when complete. 12. The window will close, and the site will direct the user back to the Quote page. 13. Select the quote, shown in Figure 1.8.

14. The new quote will be shown on the following page. Shown in Figure 1.9. 15. On the right side of the screen under Quote Line Items, select ‘New Products’. 16. Search the store code and select the product. Select the product and save it when complete.

17. Search for products by using the up arrow to list items, shown in Figure 1.11. 18. The planner will be able to edit the Quote Line Items. Select the quantity and edit as needed. 19. Select save when complete.

20.Once all Quote Line Items have been added and edited, the next step is to generate a PDF of these items. 21. Select ‘Create PDF’ in the upper right section of the Quote page. 22. A preview window will display. Two options will be available to Save and Email Quote, or to Save to Quote.

23. The planner will be able to view and download the PDF. Click to download the PDF to add to your Kitchen Plan Package. (Shown in Figure 1.15.) 24. Save the PDF to the customer folder located on your desktop or laptop.


Sync the Quote to the Opportunity

25. Next, sync the quote to the opportunity. 26. In the upper right section of the Quote page select the down arrow and click on ‘Start Sync’. Shown in Figure 1.17. 27. A window will pop out with the option to sync the quote. Click continue to complete the action.

30. The final step is to select the opportunity from the Quote page to ensure the quote was properly synced up with the opportunity.
