After serving as an assistant coach at Southeastern Louisiana University for three seasons, Holladay joined Coach Savoie and the Cowgirl Family. She concluded her playing career in 1999 as the most decorated player in the history of Southeastern soccer, helping the Lady Lions to two Southland Conference regular season titles (1999, 2002) and a Southland Conference Tournament title (1998). Holladay began her career at LSU in 1995 and started in the majority of games, including the SEC Tournament.
