Bryant is in his first season. Hawkins, a graduate of Northwestern State, joined the Cowboys after serving in the same capacity with the Demons. Bryant, a graduate of McNeese and a former Cowboy football player, had spent the last eight years as a football coach and strength coach at Sulphur (LA) High School. Both are in charge of the Charles Kuehn (pictured above) weight room which will be located as part of the new Jack Doland athletic facility. The new weight room will encompass 8,000 square feet and will be furnished with the newest Hammer Strength machines and weights. The facility is named in honor of McNeese State’s first football all-American who is pictured above.
