PKMR IS CELEBRATING 15 YEARS IN BUSINESS AND WE HAVE MANY PEOPLE TO THANK FOR THE OPPORTUNITIES ALONG THE WAY.

E Gig Harbor, WA Finkle Williams Architecture White Hutchinson

FIRST PROJECTS / Mini-Storage Units / Kitchen hood replacements / Car Washes / Library restroom additions

WHILE WE CONTINUE to work on those types of projects, our range has increased in magnitude and complexity. From those beginnings, we are now involved in projects with budgets over $50,000,000, complex health care projects and highend corporate buildings. It continues to be about relationships. If our relationships have kitchen hood replacements, then we are glad to be involved.

IT’S ALL ABOUT LONG TERM RELATIONSHIPS We are thankful for our many great client relationships. We have some that have spanned the duration of PKMR.

/ Why do you chose to work with PKMR?

/ What is your role in the community & industry?

Jerot Pearson and I started working together in the 1990’s. When Jerot and his partners formed PKMR, he reached out to me. We had just received a call from a surgical center developer who was in need of a design team. We won the job and have worked together on almost two hundred surgery centers

WSKF strives to be a market-leader in the industries we serve. For WSKF, being a market-leader means that you are at the design and service forefront of your market but that you are also innately able to be an innovator. This is also the benchmark we set and expect from the consultants with whom we work.

across the United States since 2002. / What has kept your relationship with PKMR? The best part of working with PKMR is that they think outside the box. They are knowledgeable and when faced with a problem, they look at the challenge from all angles.

/ What is different about PKMR compared to others? For me, it is understanding that each project has its own set of challenges and hurdles. PKMR understands these inherent challenges and shoulders these challenges in a true “partnership” approach.

/ What do you enjoy about PKMR?

/ What do you enjoy about PKMR?

I enjoy the people I work with and the laid-back atmosphere we have here.

Multiple things. For one it’s not the same thing every day, always a new project being designed and built. I also enjoy my coworkers.

/ What do you enjoy doing outside work? Motorcycle adventures, playing tennis, gardening, cooking, being at the lake/boating, road trips, finding new culinary experiences, watching my son play baseball and trying to find the best Pale Ale craft beer in the world.

/ Do you have a favorite memory at PKMR?

/ Do you have a favorite memory at PKMR?

Probably would have to be the 3 years that I was able to walk 187 steps to work. Travel time less than 1 minute and absolutely no drive time stress!

We have many inside jokes among the Topeka office, typically just saying a single phrase will set us off. Probably one of my favorite times with all of PKMR was the casino themed Christmas party. Everyone was having a good time.

I love to be spend time with family/friends and to be outdoors. We recently moved to the country, so I’m looking forward to teaching our 11-month old to love the outdoors as well.

/ What do you enjoy about PKMR?

/ What do you enjoy about PKMR?

I appreciate that PKMR cares about people, including their employees, but also in the community around us.

The people are what define PKMR as a great place to work. Everyone’s personalities combine to create an easygoing and lighthearted environment, where you can be yourself. If the schedule is tight for an approaching project deadline, everyone is willing to lend a helping hand and jump in to produce a successful product.

/ Do you have a favorite memory at PKMR? Company outings and parties are always a fun time but my favorite memories are slow Friday afternoons when we try out new craft beers selected by the PKMR libations coordinator and sit around and chat with coworkers. / What is your role with PKMR? Project Manager. I interface with the client, ensure projects are coordinated between all trades, and make sure deadlines are met.

/ What do you enjoy doing outside work? Traveling and spending time with friends & family. / What is your role with PKMR? Mechanical Engineer for a variety of projects, including office tenant finish, senior living, restaurants, multi family, healthcare, etc.
