Dr. Paul Kersey is a surgeon who only sees the aftermath of his city's violence when it is rushed into his ER - until his wife and daughter are viciously attacked in their suburban home. With the police overloaded with crimes, Paul, burning for revenge, hunts his family's assailants to deliver justice. As the anonymous slayings of criminals grabs the media's attention, the city wonders if this deadly avenger is a guardian angel or a grim reaper.

All is not as it seems for mild-mannered American businessman Harold Soyinka (David Oyelowo). Crossing the line from citizen to criminal, Harold tangles with duplicitous business partners, Mexican drug lords, international mercenaries, and the DEA. As he attempts to survive in one of the most dangerous places on earth, the question lingers: is this ordinary man in way over his head, or is he two steps ahead?

Luke is a friend and physician, who risks his life when he ventures into the city of Rome to visit Paul, who is held captive in Nero's darkest, bleakest prison cell. But Nero is determined to rid Rome of Christians, and does not flinch from executing them in the grisliest ways possible. Before Paul's death sentence can be enacted, Luke resolves to write another book, one that details the beginnings of 'The Way' and the birth of what will come to be known as the church.

A young woman leaves her hometown to escape a troubled past and begin a new job. But when she is involuntarily committed to a mental institution she is confronted by her greatest fear — but is it real or just her delusion? PK HOLLYWOOD’S PURCHASING TIPS - JUNE 2018 NEW RELEASES - A WEEK BY WEEK OVERVIEW Week #1 - 7 recommended titles (allocate approx. 34% of your monthly budget). Week #2 - 4 recommended titles (allocate approx. 28% of your monthly budget). Week #3 - 7 recommended titles (allocate approx. 23% of your monthly budget). Week #4 - 5 recommended titles (allocate approx. 15% of your monthly budget).

NEED TO KNOW PURCHASING INFO The biggest piece of news that you NEED TO KNOW is that effective with the June titles, Y.E.S. is now distributing product for ALL studios in Canada with the exception of the eOne/Fox joint venture. We are working towards finalizing an agreement with Disney. As I’ve shared on numerous occasions we would not be in this position and been able to negotiate our deals with the studios without all of the terrific support we have received from our customers. We look forward to providing you with a lower cost of goods and terrific service for years to come. Let’s take a look at the month of June. - 23 titles are recommended over the four Tuesday’s in June. All but 5 are available to order from YES. - 17 of those titles are recommended on Blu-ray. - 10 titles available on Blu-ray are available in a Combo, including the 8 of the Top 10 ranked titles. - Almost two-thirds (62%) of your June budget should be invested over the first two weeks. - June offers a wide range of titles given no genre has more than 3 titles. - Universal dominates the month with 6 recommended titles, followed by Warner, Fox and VVS Films with 3 each. - 3 recommended titles (Delirium, The Endless and Supercon are available on DVD for less than $12.50. Take advantage of the great low price and bring in at least a copy or two of each. - At the time of publishing this month’s edition of the YES Monthly, there was not a single title being released in June that generated over $100 million at the box office. There are 7 titles that earned over $20 million at the box office meaning good consumer awareness for those titles. - Based on the June theatrical schedule, it’s strongly recommended that you have a few extra copies of Jurassic World, Ocean’s 11,12, and 13 and the first Sicario film on your shelves. - My sleeper picks for the month are Ordinary Man, Indian Horse and Supercon along with the Warner family film Alex & Me and the VVS title Bent, which features terrific cast appeal.
