The IT Essentials (ITE) course introduces students to the fundamentals of computer hardware and software, mobile devices, security and networking concepts, and the responsibilities of an IT professional. The latest release includes mobile devices, Linux, and client side virtualization, as well as expanded information about Microsoft Windows operating systems, security, networking, and troubleshooting. Marcraft Concepts & Practices and Environments & Testing
CCNAv7: Introduction to Networks (ITN) covers the architecture, structure, functions and components of the Internet and other computer networks. Students achieve a basic understanding of how networks operate and how to build simple local area networks (LAN), perform basic configurations for routers and switches, and implement Internet Protocol (IP). CCNA 2 – Switching, Routing and Wireless Essentials (CCNA 1 prerequisite)
• Cyber Security Concepts and Practices Includes 180 hours of illustrated theory, integrated with step-by-step hands-on labs and equipment. • In today’s Global IT environment, Cyber Security goes well beyond traditional network security. CCNAv7: Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials (SRWE) covers the architecture, components, and operations of routers and switches in small networks and introduces wireless local area networks (WLAN) and security concepts. Students learn how to configure and troubleshoot routers and switches for advanced functionality using security best practices and resolve common issues with protocols in both IPv4 and IPv6 networks. CCNA 3 – Enterprise Networking and Security Automation. (CCNA 2 prerequisite)
Client/Operating Systems (Testout) • The TestOut Client Pro course focuses on teaching configuration tasks performed on the client computer by a desktop administrator in a business environment. This course prepares students for the TestOut Client Pro certification exam and Microsoft’s Windows 10 (MD-100) and Managing Modern Desktops (MD-101) certification exams. Completing this course effectively prepares students to earn their Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certification.
CCNAv7: Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation (ENSA) describes the architecture, components, operations, and security to scale for large, complex networks, including wide area network (WAN) technologies. The course emphasizes network security concepts and introduces network virtualization and automation. Students learn how to configure, troubleshoot, and secure enterprise network devices and understand how application programming interfaces (API) and configuration management tools enable network automation. The following configuration is the minimum system requirements recommended by Cisco to successfully install and run Packet Tracer 7.3 : CPU: Intel Pentium 4, 2.53 GHz or equivalent OS: Microsoft Windows 7, 8.1, 10, Linux Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS (Ubuntu 16.04 and 14.04 LTS are no longer supported) RAM: 2 GB Storage: 500 MB of free disk space Display resolution: 1024 x 768 Language fonts supporting Unicode encoding (if viewing in languages other than English) Latest video card drivers and operating system updates For optimal performance when running Packet Tracer 7.3, the following capabilities are recommended: CPU: Intel Pentium 4, 3.0 GHz or better RAM: 4 GB or more Storage: 700 MB of free disk space Display resolution: 1920 x 1080 (HD) Sound card and speakers Internet connectivity (if using the Multiuser feature) The Cyber Security curriculum consists of combination of curriculum through Marcraft and Testout. There is no prerequisite for the Cyber Security curriculum although there is an addition cost for the Testout license.
Server Operating Systems (Testout) • This course prepares students for TestOut’s Server Pro 2016: Install and Storage certification exam and Microsoft’s Installation, Storage, and Compute with Windows Server 2016 certification exam (70-740). Through this course, students gain valuable experience with installation, storage, and OS features and functionality available in Windows Server 2016.
Security Pro (Testout) • TestOut Security Pro prepares students for TestOut’s Security Pro certification exam and CompTIA’s Security+ SY0-501 certification exam. Students learn how to secure a corporate network using a layered security model.

Industry Training/Truck Driver Training
The industry training program is designed to fit a variety of skill requirements found in today’s business and industry. These training programs can be customized to fit specific industry and client needs. The training can be held on Pioneer Tech’s campus, the client’s facility or other appropriate location. The manufacturing extension agent provides outreach to manufacturers all over northwest Oklahoma offering resources and programs to maximize efficiencies and profitability. Some of the initiatives include engineering and technical assistance, business-to-business collaborations, export assistance, new product development, improving work-flow processes and quality control. Pioneer Technology Center’s Plan Room was established in 2003 with the help of community partners like Ponca City Development Authority and Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education. The Plan Room makes it possible for users to receive information on all construction projects that report to Construct Connect and several engineering firms in Oklahoma with 24 hour a day access. As part of the Business Incubator facility, the Plan Room is a resource for local contractors to receive information needed to bid on commercial and government contracts. All special testing fees for certiﬁcations are not included in the course fees. Cash, credit card or check is accepted to pay for course fees. The minimum for a credit card transaction is $20.
SPECIAL NOTES Company and agency billings are gladly accepted. A third-party billing form must be completed by the student and an authorized agent before enrollment is accepted.

Pioneer Technology Center reserves the right to cancel classes, to change instructors, to alter time schedules, and to make any other changes necessary to facilitate the instructional process for the community’s adult students. All classes are subject to minimum enrollment requirements.
Enrollment is taken by the Adult Training and Development staff Monday – Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m., or Friday 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at Pioneer Technology Center, Ponca City Campus. (Ofﬁce hours may vary due to holiday schedules and school breaks) REFUND POLICY The class fee is refundable in full if the class is canceled by the technology center. Student requested tuition refunds for short-term classes are as follows:

TRANSFERRING Students may transfer to another class prior to the second class meeting of both classes. There will be a $10 processing fee. The difference in the class fee less the processing fee will be refunded. If the student transfers to a class with a higher fee, the student will pay the difference in the class fee plus the $10 processing fee.
