The Revenge of Mr. Clodius The DHS Pioneer Blast Photoshop Competition has finally culminated after two weeks. The Blast appreciates all the submissions that were received and for the student body putting up with the puns and ‘shade’ thrown during morning announcements. Through much deliberation, we've come down to the three winners: first place goes to Connor Hopkins, second is Ian Daly and third place goes to Sharon Dosland. Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to all who submitted to the Blast. The Blast would like to give a shout out to all who participated in the contest: Ian Daly, Sharon Dosland, Connor Hopkins, Sophie Capra, Camilla Delano, Emily Howard, Luke Hermann, Brittany Shipman, and Nathan Logan. !1

Food Choices - 2016 The Netflix review for this week is about a documentary called Food Choices. It features a man who travels the country searching for information on the best possible diet for a person. At the start, I was kind of skeptical about what they deemed as healthy and unhealthy food choices. For example, the documentary goes into detail about how eggs are actually unhealthy for an ideal diet. This is a very persuasive documentary and I sincerely enjoyed it. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ /5

SPORTS HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK Duchesne girls' basketball scored some major victories last night across from the Cathedral, as both the varsity and junior varsity teams took wins against Rosati-Kain. It was the varsity squad's sixth win on the season, holding off Rosati with an eight point lead, 49-41. The game was anyone's to win till the second half: "We came out firing and got a lot of steals right away," said senior Meghan Neuner, "and we just kept that intensity throughout the second half and got a lot of points for steals and breakaways." The girls have their next game on Friday against St. Charles West.
