PLA WELCOMES 24 NEW ASSOCIATE MEMBERS... BEMBNISTA Aleksandra and Gary along with their children Tyler, Austin and Naomi Ulisse, stepchildren Alyssa and Drew Korzon, and Aleksa’s mom Halina Bembnista, are all excited for a summer at Pinewood Lake! Aleksa was born in Poland and came to the USA in 1987 where she completed high school in Milford, CT, attended Wheton College in MA where she obtained a BA, and finished her MS in Biochemistry at NYU. Aleksa loves to play volleyball, ski, crochet and stitch, and they love to spend time together as a family. BRADY David and Stacey have two children. Ian, 7, is in first grade at Booth Hill Elementary and loves sports such as golfing, baseball, basketball and snow skiing. Owen, 5, will be at Booth Hill Elementary kindergarten in the fall and also loves the same sports as his big brother. Dr. David Brady practices at Whole Body Medicine in Trumbull and is a licensed Naturopathic Physician and Certified Clinical Nutritionist. He is also Vice-Provost of the Health Sciences Division at University of Bridgeport. Stacey is a former dance instructor and professional dancer in ballet, jazz and tap. She owned her own studio before coming to NYC to audition for various Broadway roles, and then taught for the New England Ballet Company before having her two sons. She now enjoys the boys as a full time mom. BROWN Michael and PJ moved to Trumbull in 2008 and have enjoyed being a part of the Nichols community ever since. Michael is a teacher at Stamford High School and PJ is VP of Sales at Calvin Klein Footwear. Both of their daughters, Leilani and Makena, attend Booth Hill Elementary. They love spending quality time with family, friends and their three dogs. They are looking forward to making memories at the lake!

CARUSO The Caruso family moved to Trumbull 18 years ago. Joe and Olga have three children. Joey is a senior at Roger Williams University, Deanna is a junior at Keene State college, and Matthew is a 6th grader at Hillcrest. Joe has been coaching Trumbull Youth Sports for the last 18 years and is a Senior Loan Officer at PrimeLending in Milford. Olga is an ABA therapist for children with autism at Frenchtown Elementary. They are looking forward to being Pinewood Lake members! CENATIEMPO Lynn and Ted have lived in Trumbull for 15 years, and have two daughters. Brooklyn, 13, is in 7th grade at Hillcrest, and Bailey, 10, is in 4th grade at Frenchtown Elementary. They are looking forward to joining PLA, meeting new people, and making new friends! CERNIGLIA Joanna was born and raised in Nichols, and she and Richard have four kids, Sofia, Layla, Allison, and Giuseppe. Their two oldest daughters Sofia and Layla attend Booth Hill School. Joanna works for her family’s business in town, Pepper’s Landscaping & Lawn Service, Inc., and is actively involved in the PTA at Booth Hill School. Rich was born and raised in Stratford and also works for the family business. We are very excited about becoming members of the PLA and hope to spend a wonderful summer at the Lake! DOHERTY Rhonda and Chris have three children, Sean is a junior at THS, Brenna a freshman at THS, and AJ who is in 5th grade at Booth Hill School. They are active in the children’s sports (soccer, competitive cheerleading, lacrosse) and the Boy Scouts. They are excited to become members of Pinewood Lake.

DURAND Michaela and Walt join the PLA with their daughter Maggie and their caregivers Billy and Nancy Walsh. EGMONT Kristin and Michael have two daughters, Liliana and Mia, and two cats. They have been Trumbull residents since 2003. Mike owns an IT company in Shelton and Kristin works in Internet Marketing. The girls love ballet, soccer, swimming...they all love meeting new people! FINNEGAN Deirdre and Michael have lived in Trumbull for 12 years and have two children, Owen and Kathryn who go to Daniels Farm School. They also have a beloved dog, Gracie. Owen plays travel hockey and Kathryn enjoys gymnastics and soccer. They travel to Nantucket for a couple of weeks every summer, and now will look forward to spending many days at the lake this year! FROMAGEOT Madeline joins the PLA with her children Francis, Christine, John Paul and Sophie. They love sports such as hockey, lacrosse, basketball and sailing. They have a pug, Cinnamon, and a fish, Nelson, and have been Trumbull residents for 15 years. GREENE Heather and Chris have four children, Sarah, Jillian, Matthew and Nathan. They are happy to now be part of the PLA family. HACKENSON Lori and Scott have a daughter Shelly and have been in their Trumbull home since 1985. Lori is a flight attendant for American Airlines and volunteers at church and school. Scotty has every man’s dream job: working for a company which builds and restores vintage cars for show and racing. Shelly has been at St. Theresa’s School since preschool. You may have seen them walking, biking, or driving a golf cart
