Delaware River Waterfront Corporation (DRWC) is a nonprofit corporation organized exclusively for the benefit of the City of Philadelphia and its citizens. DRWC acts as the steward of the Delaware River waterfront to provide a benefit to all of the citizens and visitors of the City. The fundamental purpose of DRWC is to design, develop and manage the central Delaware River waterfront in Philadelphia between Oregon and Allegheny Avenues. From the Historic District and Old City, head East on either Market, Chestnut, Walnut or South Streets. Cross Front Street and walk over the pedestrian walkways to Columbus Blvd. Once on Columbus Blvd. the Great Plaza will be straight ahead. Continue straight on Columbus Blvd. for Festival Pier. INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE GARDEN (17) Columbus Blvd. - Located between Dock Street & Spruce Street The International Sculpture Garden is an outdoor installation of ancient and ethnographic works, located between Dock and Spruce Streets along the Delaware River that was originally dedicated in 1976 as part of the American bicentennial celebrations. The two-acre garden contains sculptures from around the world that celebrate the impact of other cultures on the American experience. A new design for the International Sculpture Garden is complete. The sculptures are currently in storage awaiting the implementation of the new design. The garden can still be utilized as a passive riverfront park space pending the reintegration of the sculptures.
