Regurgitator are back By Kristen Cookson Australian rock band Regurgitator will be rocking the stage at The Walkington Theatre on the 26th September. Two of the members Quan Yeomans on guitar and vocals and Ben Ely on bass and vocals are back in business. After three years, the silence has finally broken as they recently released their new EP called Distractions. Previously with drummer Peter Kostic, Regurgitator were very well known in the mid 1990s for their individual sound in the Australian music scene. In the past three years the boys have been busy writing music and doing some hard core travelling. They have also performed live in Brisbane with a contemporary dance school and again live at
the Sydney Opera House with their remake of the soundtrack to the Japanese animated action film Akira. They began their Distractions tour on the 15th September in Hobart and will be finishing on the 27th September in Perth. The guys will be performing with special guests Rat Vs Possum and Laneous and the Family Yah. Man finds $5000 worth of Marijuana in painting Source: news.com.au
A man found hidden treasure in a painting he bought at an auction: four pounds (1.8kg) of marijuana. Gordon Clement, 80, discovered the marijuana stashed inside of the painting, which he bought at a post office auction about five years ago, WSB-TV said. He found the drugs recently when
he tried to sell the artwork at another auction. Mr Clement planned to ask $US25 for the piece. Police said the marijuana was worth about $US4800 ($5328). Alarmed, he called his lawyer and turned the painting over to authorities.
