IFRC head delegate joins PHL Red Cross in relief distribution to Iliganâ€™s storm-hit barangays

ead Delegate Selva Sinnadurai of the International Federation of the Red Cross (IFRC) joined the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) team headed by National Chairman Richard Gordon in a site visit to barangays spawned by tropical storm Sendong. They personally distributed nonfood items to affected families at Sta Filomena evacuation center, this city, with the Red Cross team bringing packed items containing basin, bucket with lid, emergency household items like kitchen wares, tarpaulin, jerrycans, mosquito nets, towel with soap, mat and blanket.
All the four-truck loads delivered containing non-food items came from International Committee on Red Cross (ICRC), Davao City, and were packed by the youth volunteers for distribution.
