M A R I N A administrator Emerson M. Lorenzo, CESO V in a press statement said that “the theme is both timely and relevant to the Philippines noting

that the Philippines at this point in time supplies more than a quarter of qualified, competent and certified seafarers for the international seaborne trade.”
