Digital What’s Film? Someday my child will be asking this. It’s so sad that such a wonderful art is becoming obsolete. I remember spending hours and hours in the dark room; using my hands to dodge (lighten) areas on a print. Then taking the paper and soaking it in the fix and going through all the chemicals. Now we can have instant gratification with our digital cameras. Anyone can use one and anyone can get a decent image when you take hundreds of shots. So what makes a professional photographer? Why do people hire a professional when they have just as good of a camera? What makes me different from Uncle Joe or Aunt Kathy? It’s my ability to see the light, to pose an individual or a group of thirty people, and to get the shot that pulls at our heart strings. That is what makes me a professional. Now with all that being said we have to keep up with the times. CDs are more important then ever to people. They want to be able to do their own printing, their own album design and to be able to share their images through facebook. We have revamped our way of thinking to give you the best quality images. Nearly all of our session fees will now include a high resolution CD (this excludes Spring and Holiday portraits, where CDs can be purchased separately) with printing rights. To see all the prices visit our website.
