Developer’s Comments Welcome to the Residence at 122 West Timber Draw. It is not often that we find a heavily timbered home site that offers year round sun exposure, with this level of privacy. Located just above the heavily wooded hiking trail and wildlife corridor, the sighting of the structure maximizes views from all primary living spaces. Upon arrival, you’ll notice the architectural design of this wonderful home. The primary design element - the stone tower to the left of the grand entry - anchors the structure from an exterior perspective and provides deep penetrating natural light in the interior. “Ease of living” was a constantly at the fore front our building-plan. For example, the entry of the home had to be on the same level as the main floor in order to avoid steps & trekking. This is sometimes difficult due to mountain elevations, but it worked well with the natural topography of this site. Of the three master suites, the primary master suite on the main level affords comfortable living on the one/main level of the home. The main-level garage allows for easy transport of groceries to kitchen or shopping bags to the master bedroom. The garage was made with easy-storage in mind. - loads of cabinets and a storage system for year-around sporting. When entering, you are immediately drawn to the great-room view of the mountains and aspens and pine. The openness of the lodge-style design is a traditional component of the mountain- living experience. It feels comfortable and inviting. Also, it feels warm. The colored plaster walls are truly an artisan indulgence in fine custom homes.

Another goal in the design of the floor plan was to maximize the architectural program with a minimum of wasted square footage. By doing so the home lives much larger than its sixty two hundred square feet. The home has a noticeable lack of hallways (although no bedrooms open directly in to public spaces with the incorporation of vestibules). For a timeless feel, we have incorporated old -world craftsmanship in each and every aspect of the construction of this home: heavy timber trusses and beams - all of which have been hand-hewn and antiqued. Under closer observation you will discover that every piece of trim material, doors, cabinets, even the closets, have been aged, distressed, and antiqued. Also, all cabinetry was site finished by a team of artisans customized for each room. Don’t overlook the stone-work: cut stone in bathrooms make for a more classical look - less likely to require “updates.” Each element and detail in this home is well thought out and executed with an eye for the timelessness of a mountain, family home.
