Paintings by Brett Goodroad (USA) UK Premiere

4–29 April · Open Wed – Sun 11:00–17:00

5 May – 27 May · Open Wed – Sun 11:00–17:00

The exhibition coincides with World Autism Awareness Week (26 March– 2 April) celebrating the vibrant artwork by young, prolific and autistic member of the Rocket Artists; Johnny Carroll-Pell. The exhibition is curated by Rocket Artists, a group of artists with and without learning disabilities who have journeyed together to explore the notion of inclusive, collaborative curation. The show invites us to re-consider what curation can be and will provide opportunities for communities of artists, families and organisations to connect through a celebration of art, inclusion and diversity. A varied programme of events alongside the exhibition includes talks, workshops and a book launch in and around the gallery. See page 11 and website for details.

Brett Goodroad grew up in Montana, and lives and works in San Francisco painting in his backyard. Much of his work mimics nature.
