PUBLIC PROGRAMS fall 2017

“Develop an interest in life as you see it; the people, things, literature, music—the world is so rich, simply throbbing with rich treasures, beautiful souls, and interesting people. Forget yourself.” – henry miller

WE FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT. THE SECRET TO LIFE: LIVE IT. SOMETIMES, AMIDST TURMOIL AND TRANSGRESSIONS, DISAGREEMENTS AND DIVISIONS, IT IS EASY TO FORGET THAT OUR WORLD IS STILL SO FULL OF WHAT IS WHOLE, BEAUTIFUL, COMPLICATED, INTERESTING, MOVING, AND REAL. IN EVERY CULTURE, EVERY CITY, EVERY CONTINENT, THERE IS SOMETHING NEW TO DISCOVER, ABOUT EACH OTHER, ABOUT HUMANITY, AND ABOUT OURSELVES. SOMETIMES, THE EASIEST WAY TO FIND CONNECTIONS WITH EACH OTHER IS BY EXPLORING OUR DIFFERENCES, HONORING THEM, TAKING THAT FIRST HOPEFUL STEP TOWARD TOGETHERNESS. THIS IS THE WORLD WE LOVE, NO MATTER HOW FRACTURED IT MAY SEEM. WE WANT TO SHOW YOU THAT WORLD, THE WHOLE WORLD, HERE IN YOUR CITY, RIGHT HERE IN YOUR MUSEUM. JOIN US.

SEE THE WORLD.
