THE NEWSLETTER OF PHOEBUS SOFTWARE LIMITED AUTUMN/WINTER 2015 ISSUE 8

PHOEBUSFOCUS Leading the market – 25 years onÁ

Welcome to the eighth issue of Phoebus Focus, the magazine designed to keep you informed of the latest developments from one of the industry’s leading and fastest-growing software providers.

PSL’s multi award-winning software was originally developed as the in-house solution for Heritable Bank, which used the constantly evolving Phoebus deposits and loans system for more than 20 years, managing multiple lending product types and holding deposits in excess of £1.4 billion. PSL became fully independent in 1996, since when it has grown rapidly and become one of the industry’s leading software providers to the banking and lending sectors.

Since the last issue of Phoebus Focus, PSL has continued its’ success with a number of important client wins being achieved including Business Lending Group, Cambridge & Counties Bank, Hampshire Trust Bank, Heritable Development Finance, Legal & General Home Finance, One Savings Bank, Paratus AMC, Pure Retirement, Raphaels Bank and Titlestone. PSL now has more than 20 live clients in different sectors originating and servicing a range of products across first charge residential including equity release and buy-to-let, secured loans, asset finance, development finance, commercial mortgages, unsecured loans, bridging finance and deposits.

PSL continues to perform strongly. With a growing team, the challenge will be to deliver the same high levels of service whilst at the same time bringing a number of new product enhancements to market that will enable both existing and new clients to quickly take advantage of emerging market opportunities. 2014 was a significant milestone for Phoebus Software Limited (PSL), as it celebrated its 25th anniversary in November.

Last year also saw an important new strategic development with PSL launching in Ireland and deploying the Phoebus solution in the very active servicing sector. PSL has achieved great success in the servicing market in the UK and now has six third party administration clients and in excess of £25bn of assets under management. The Irish servicing market conditions have been very similar to those in the UK over the past five years and so servicers can take advantage of the primary and special servicing features of Phoebus that our UK client base utilise today.
