Focus on your legs Many people don’t realize that your legs are vital to relieving pain in the back. With careful and consistent stretching of your legs, you will be able to control the tightness of muscles, not only in your legs but also in your back. One way to open up your hips and stretch that lower region is by putting your one leg over the other while sitting and then leaning forward. This will create a good stretch for your hips and lower back. By opening up the hips you are really realigning your spine and allowing for sustainable back recovery.

Be consistent Don’t think that just doing these things once will keep your back spry and ready to perform on your every whim. It takes consistent stretching and pressure in order to create the right sort of dynamic with


your back. Remember that there are a lot of ways to stretch and you should try and change it up so you don’t get bored. One way to do this is by taking a yoga class or a stretching class.

Work it into your daily routine Just like brushing your teeth, stretching should be a part of your daily routine.
