First Time Opened To The Public Experience The Spiritual Healing And Energy Vortex Of The Sacred Orisa Gardens And Sculptures At The 1st Annual African Sacred Orisa Gardens Festival May 14-15, 2011
The Ifa Foundation of North & Latin America announces that they will be hosting the 1st Annual African Sacred Orisa Gardens Festival to be held May 14 and 15 in Crescent City Florida. The spiritual healing event is the first time the Foundation has opened the gardens to the public. The Gardens are the only complete example of the ancient Spirits of West Africa in the Western Hemisphere. In African philosophy, genuine Spiritual Gardens represent the intermediate point of connection between human and Orisa (Eternal energies created by God). Following decades of development, the festival will showcase over 20 unique spiritual sculptures and Orisa Gardens thriving in the African soil of Florida. The grounds represent a special piece of Earth where thousands of ceremonies, ebbos and offerings have been performed, creating a unique and intense energy vortex. Oluwo Philip Neimark, Founder of The Ifa Foundation, stated: “The Sacred African Orisa Gardens at Ola Olu in central Florida represent the living embodiment of the individual African Spirits that inhabit natural objects or Orisa, and pre-date the birth of Christ by several thousand years.” About The Sacred Spiritual Sculpture Gardens In African philosophy, genuine Spiritual Gardens represent the intermediate point of connection between human and Orisa (Eternal energies created by God). This intermediate point, or physical Orisa, reflects its own accumulated ase’ (eternal energy), as well as the energy of every prayer and offering that has ever been made to it. The Sacred Orisa Gardens at Ola Olu represent the only complete Sacred Orisa Gardens in the Western Hemisphere. In this location literally thousands of ceremonies, ebbos and offerings have taken place creating an accumulation of the most intense energy vortex within the physical Orisa, allowing your own potent connection and empowerment to take place.
The Orisa Spiritual Gardens represent both the visions of Susanne Wenger’s dedication to reviving the traditions of the pre-Christian Yoruba gods and her ongoing working relationship with Iya Vassa. The sculpture work of Iya Vassa is an integral part of the Sacred Gardens. A leader in the Ifa Foundation of North America, Iya Vassa has developed the garden’s living art as a celebration to the Orisa that guide us. The Sacred Orisa Gardens at Olu Olu in Central Florida represent a sacred space for those of any spiritual path to connect with the vibrational reality of the Yoruba Archetypal eternal energies they embody.
Click Here For More Event Information More About Africa in Florida In earliest times, Florida was part of Gondwanaland, the super continent that later divided into Africa and South America. There is evidence that Florida separated from Gondwanaland about 300 million years ago. Florida eventually found itself wedged between Gondwanaland and North America when they combined to form the super continent Pangaea. When Pangaea began to break up, Florida remained behind with North America. Florida slipped slowly beneath the waves to become part of North America’s continental shelf. Florida finally emerged from the seas as part of the North American mainland.
