“That’s why we make sure that patients and members of our community have the opportunity to recognize our staff for going above and beyond!”

Good Stuff oday it seems as though all we see or hear about on the news is the “bad stuff” going on in the world around us. Our human response is to: 1) become saturated by all the negativity and “shut down” insulating ourselves from the outside world or 2) just adapting to it and let it become our reality for the day. Well, the “bad stuff” is not always the case as you’re about to read what’s going on in our community where our local health providers continue to go out of their way to make “others” feel better. This can be seen on a regular basis at our hospital with the Guardian Angel program. This program recognizes individuals or groups for going above and beyond their regular job duties to ensure that our patients are “especially” well taken care of. The entire range of employees is represented in this program and extends from our wonderful physicians and nurses all the way to our cheerful and professional environmental services and housekeeping staff. Entire groups or departments have been recognized for the continued excellent services that they provide. I’ve seen it in action myself last month when I was a patient being taken care of by some wonderful folks in medical imaging, nuclear medicine and the cardiac catheterization lab. You see, there’s a lot of really “good stuff” that happens on a daily basis too, it just doesn’t always make the media highlights. That’s why we have the Guardian Angel recognition program, to make sure that patients and members of our community have the opportunity to recognize our staff for going above and beyond! To honor your Guardian Angel please contact Cameron Hance in the Foundation office at 573-458-7699 or visit

Guardian Angels The Guardian Angel program provides an opportunity for you, as a grateful patient, and your loved ones to recognize and express gratitude to a special caregiver who you believe made a difference during your visit at PCRMC. By making a donation on behalf of your caregiver, you will honor someone who has touched your life in an extraordinary way.

We celebrate the caregiver by: • Presenting a certificate without specifying the amount of your donation • Presenting the caregiver with a custom-crafted lapel pin • Recognizing the caregiver amongst his or her peers

Your Donations Make a Difference

Did you know for every $1,000 in contributions to the Foundation, PCRMC would have to bill $144,000 to receive the same amount? When donors recognize Guardian Angels, the donation can be directed to the fund of their choice and then become immediately available and put to work.
